- Health, safety, scientific, certification, origin, shipping, and return claims require an approved source before publication.
Sources and review
- Editors should use the most direct available source and record where a factual claim came from.
- Commercial and technical guidance is separated from medical advice; qualified professionals should be used where a project requires them.
- A visible product page or third-party statement is not automatically treated as proof of a claim.
AI-assisted content
- AI output is a draft aid, not an authority or source.
- AI-assisted drafts require human review and approval before publication.
- Automated text may not invent citations, reviews, ratings, product facts, credentials, or customer experiences.
Corrections and updates
- Reports are reviewed against the current catalog, policy, or source record.
- Material errors are corrected or uncertain copy is withheld; related metadata and structured data are reviewed at the same time.
